Can an easement by necessity be removed when a public road is built that touches the affected lot.?

The parcel of land in question was originally landlocked but a road was recently put in that touches the property. The necessity no longer exists. How do I remove the easement from my property? Can I have it removed without the permission of the other landowner that benefitted from the easement?
