Can an apartment complex force you to use a particular utility company if it's not listed on your lease?

I live in an apartment complex that says I have to use Ripoff Utilities, inc. On my lease, it states that I am responsible for my utilities and no where on it does it specify which company I have to use. Do I have to use Ripoff U,inc. or am I within my rights to use a different company?
